Types of Super Bowl Pocket Helmets

There are generally two types of super bowl factory helmets.

1. Helmets with the team logo on one side and the super bowl logo on the other side.
2. Helmets with the super bowl logo on both sides.

The checklist at the bottom of this page outlines all of the helmets and their history.

Super Bowl Logo/Team Logo Helmets

These helmets have the super bowl logo on one side and the team logo on the other side of the helmet. They were manufactured all the way up to Super Bowl 44.

Styles:

• 2-bar: Super Bowls 1-10
• Traditional: Super Bowls 11-35
• Revolution: Super Bowls 36-44
• Chrome: Super Bowls 1-40

Sets:

1. Super Bowls 1-40: 40-piece set. These helmets can all be found in the super bowls 1-16, 17-32, and 33-44 sets.
2. Super Bowls 1-16: 16-piece set. Also in the 40-piece set.
3. Super Bowls 17-32: 16 piece set. Also in the 40-piece set.
4. Super Bowls 33-44: 12-piece set. 33-40 in the 40-piece set.

Super Bowl Chrome Helmets

To my knowledge, super bowl winner chrome helmets were only manufactured for super bowls 1-40. Two sets were manufactured in box sets, one 36-piece and the other a 37-piece set. Super bowl winner helmets for super bowl 38, 39 and 40 were manufactured individually. The Super Bowl 36 set includes a helmet for super bowl 36 that has the Super Bowl logo on both sides of the helmet.

There are three unique chrome super bowl helmets (interestingly, these are all Patriots chrome super bowl helmets):
