Texans

For 21 years, the Texans had one helmet style in their existence. It’s in the original, revolution, speed, throwback series 2, and throwback 2-bar sets. In 2022, they introduced a red alternate. In 2024, they slightly altered their helmet and introduced two new alternates.

2024 Updates

In 2024, the Texans started over.

The Texans released three new helmets for 2024. Two of them are alternates. The third is a minor update of the 2002-23 helmet.

  • A midnight blue helmet, midnight blue facemask, H logo – custom only
  • A red helmet, red facemask, blue horns – custom only
  • The class steel blue helmet will be “candy painted” with blue flake. There is an official factory version of this helmet.

It appears the Texans will abandon the battle red helmet they wore in 2022-23.

Prototype

When the Texans unveiled their helmet in 2000, it was white with a blue facemask. In fact, the white helmet even showed up in Madden. The helmet below is a custom prototype (I need to change the facemask).
