Riddell Factory & Complete Helmet Sets

This site displays two types of team sets:

  1. Riddell factory only.
  2. Riddle factory + custom helmets. These display complete team sets after 1955. Prior to 1955, teams wore leather helmets or helmets with lucite facemasks. Someday, I will get 3D printed leather helmets for complete sets.

Duplicates may be shown, but in different styles (same helmet in revolution and speed, for example). Some teams have duplicate two-bar helmets. These represent different sets and different markings on the back. See the two-bar helmet page for more info.

All team, super bowl, and pro bowl factory helmets are displayed except for shield and other miscellaneous helmets. There are two I do not have, but continue to look for 🙂 Those are not pictured. They are the 2022-23 Lions alternate and super bowl 48 helmets with the logos on both sides.

Fun facts:

  • The Lions have the most factory pocket helmets at 15. The Broncos have 14. The Falcons and Bills have 13.
  • The Texans have the lowest number of factory helmets at 6. The Cardinals, Ravens, Panthers and Jaguars have 7.
  • You can get a complete team’s helmet history through factory helmets only five teams: the Ravens, Browns, Panthers, Seahawks, and Buccaneers.
